Toby Yaltho, M.D.

Dr. Toby Yaltho is a dual fellowship trained neurologist. He completed a fellowship in Neurophysiology/Sleep Medicine at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. He then went on to complete Movement Disorders fellowship training at the University of Texas Medical School at Houston and a second year at the Parkinson's Disease Center and Movement Disorders Clinic at Baylor College of Medicine. He grew up in Edmonton, Alberta and trained in Neurology at the UTHSCSA, where he was chief resident. He is Board Certified in both Neurology and Sleep Medicine .

Dr. Yaltho's areas of interests include all types of movement disorders including Parkinson's disease, essential tremor, dystonia, Huntington's disease, myoclonus, and Tourette's syndrome. He is trained in the management of deep brain stimulation and chemodenervation with botulinum toxin. He is also interested in all aspects of Sleep Medicine including sleep apnea, narcolepsy, and restless legs syndrome.

Dr. Yaltho has published multiple articles and book chapters and has presented at national and international conferences. He is a member of the Movement Disorders Society, American Academy of Neurology and American Medical Association. Dr. Yaltho is married to Dr. Saira George, a dermatologist, and they have two daughters.
